Event Guide
We invite you to join us at Strangford Lough Yacht Club next year for the 2008 Sonata National Championships. With a home fleet of nearly twenty boats there will be a very warm welcome for visitors. SLYC is located in Whiterock Bay on the western edge of Strangford Lough. You will be sailing in an area of Oustanding Natural Beauty where the wildlife is part of the sailing experience as are the Islands you will be navigating around in the distance race.

For those that were here in 2004 we look forward to welcoming you back and to those who have never experienced the sheltered beauty of sailing on Strangford Lough we look forward to sharing this with you. As befits a championship held in Ireland, the social side will not be lacking! We will be organising a full social programme for the week, which we are sure youll enjoy.
